So we should all know now that blogs can be very profitable. But to get to that point, you need to have a great template and great content. Although this can all be very inexpensive to make, it can take a little time to set up so I’ll give you quick tips and strategies on how to make some quick cash while you set up your blog.

This strategy has to do with Amazon.com’s associate plan. Wait! Before you leave the site thinking you’ve heard this before, hear me out cause I believe this is a different approach to this method. Most marketers will write a bunch of ezine articles to promote their products or spend thousands on SEO to make sales but this strategy is faster and requires much less work.

The first thing you need to do is sign up for an Amazon. As soon as your account is live, you need to create an Amazon A-Store. These are your own stores that Amzon can quickly generate for you. It doesn’t need to be anything special, just use the help menus to get it fully stocked by choosing a few keywords for a niche of your choice. The one I choose was action figures.

I suggest that you also buy a domain for your niche and forward it to your store. This can build more trust for your customers. Then open up your paint program such as MS Paint and make a quick 30 second banner. Don’t worry about the quality as long as it relates to your niche.

Then find a forum or two, that relates to your niche store and sign up with it. Then place your banner in your signature box. Remember to link the banner to your site! Most forums will show you how to do this for your signature box. This is the KEY part. By having a banner, Amazon’s cookie system will store your cookie info in their system and affiliate ID so it doesn’t matter when the customers buy, even if it’s months later, you’ll still get credit!

You don’t want to spam the forum but make some good, hopefully intelligent, post under some topics that are small but you feel may have the potential to really grow. The post can even be an opinion about the topic.

When I followed these steps, within 3 minutes, I had $1,000 in sales and $50 in commission. All you have to do is make several of these in different niches and follow the steps. The potential for this is unlimited!
